On June 12, the Fourth China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo opened in Changsha, Hunan province. Centered on advancing the "ten partnership actions" for China-Africa modernization, the event featured a series of activities highlighting cooperation achievements and promoting high-quality development in China-Africa economic and trade relations. Sinomach Group showcased its key collaboration projects with African partners in the central SOE exhibition area.?

Companies such as China Machinery Engineering Corporation and China CTEXIC Corporation used models, sand tables, and multimedia displays to vividly present projects including the Sanaga Drinking Water Treatment Plant and supporting infrastructure in Yaoundé, Cameroon, and the 750MW gas-fired power station in Soyo, Angola, attracting significant attention from visitors.

For the fourth consecutive edition, China Machinery International Engineering Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. led the organization and preparation of the central enterprises exhibition area. Leveraging its full-spectrum capabilities in the exhibition industry, it successfully delivered booth design and construction, on-site operations, media engagement, and other services. It also actively supported members of the Central SOE Economic and Trade Promotion Alliance in signing intent agreements for cooperation in non-trade sectors.

This year's expo has further deepened Sinomach Group's ties with Africa, culminating in a number of new cooperation agreements in areas such as agriculture and infrastructure development.

Sinomach Hainan Development Co., Ltd., a leading provider of integrated agricultural services in Africa, signed a series of cooperation agreements at the expo, including deals on agricultural equipment, finance, and services with Angola's Wulombi Agricultural Complex, BANCO VALOR Bank, and Food Care Company. These partnerships aim to accelerate agricultural modernization and economic diversification in Angola.?

Additionally, Sinomach Hainan and YTO Group Corporation jointly signed a tripartite agreement with Zambia's GBI Group for YTO product distribution across the African market, supporting the continent's transition towards modern, green, and low-carbon agriculture.

Meanwhile, China National Electric Engineering Co., Ltd. (CNEEC) and Beijing Scientech International Project Management Co., Ltd. signed major infrastructure deals, including an EPC framework contract for a 1,200 TPD waste-to-energy project in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and an engineering supervision contract for a 100MW photovoltaic project in Jwaneng, Botswana.?

The Ethiopia project, CNEEC's second rolling development in the country, is expected to process over 400,000 tons of waste and generate about 200 million kWh of electricity annually. Once completed, it will significantly improve local environmental conditions and serve as a strong driver of Ethiopia's green and circular economy.
